DriRider RX4 Adventure jacket – CE Level 2 Armour
The comfort and protection you need for adventure off-road riding on Australian trails. The RX4 jacket is constructed of a heavy duty 450D Ripstop polyester with ballistic fabric in all high impact areas. Ripstop’s crosshatch reinforcement construction giving it excellent tensile strength and abrasion resistance, and is designed to be highly resistant to tears. This makes it a hardy jacket for all environments but has the flexibility required for tackling terrain. It has two removable liners, one thermal liner for cold weather and a waterproof/breathable liner that doubles as a destination jacket. This liner is adequately rated to prevent excess water from penetrating the jacket material, while also being breathable to allow hot air produced by your body to escape the inner layers of the jacket so you don’t overheat. It’s designed to be a comfortable after-ride jacket so you can let your RX4 gear breathe at the end of the day.
Under the ballistic protected areas you’ll find CE Level 2 armour in the shoulders and elbows, as well as a high density back protector to mitigate spinal injuries in the event of a crash. This can be upgraded to a CE Level 2 back protector for maximium protection.
Large ventilation panels in the chest allow air flow into the jacket, with ventilation on the arms is accessed by lockable zips. For enduro riding or when using road armour, the sleeves can be removed for added movement. A true off-road garment, the RX4 comes with an integrated hydration bladder, with a gusset to expand when it’s full so riders aren’t uncomfortable. Should riders prefer a different hydration pack, multiple hangers are installed to allow compatability among leading international brands. A comfortable and secure fit is guaranteed with arm and waist adjusters, while neoprene on the collar reduces the likelihood of your collar rubbing your neck. Reflective print will ensure you’re easily seen on or off-road at night time.
